Fr. Reu Jose Cabacang Galoy, OFM was born on January 26, 1970 in Allen, Northern Samar. He was ordained on April 19, 1997. He obtained his B.A. in Religious Studies and his M.A. in Pastoral Ministry from the Our Lady of the Angels Seminary (OLAS), his M.S. in Human Resources from the Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois and his Ph.D. in Ministry from the Catholic Theological Union, Chicago, Illinois.
Fr. Reu was a resource person/lecturer at St. Joseph College, QC; St. Vincent School of Theology, QC; St. Scholastica’s College, Manila; Inter-Congregational Theological Center (ICTC) and the Franciscan School of Theology.
Fr. Reu has been the Parish Administrator of St. Clare of Assisi Mission Community, Navotas; Pastor/Rector of San Pedro Bautista Parish, SFDM, QC; Provincial Secretary for Ministries and Evangelization as well as Provincial Coordinator for Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation (JPIC Office); among others.
With his expertise in Human Resource and Organizational Development Programs, he has often been invited to be facilitator in Team Building and/or Vision-Mission-Goal Formulation. He was Dean of the Franciscan School of Theology, Graduate School Department of OLAS and President of OLAS College until his transfer to SSAP. Fr. Reu is SSAP’s new Parish Priest.
