This Ministry intends to create programs that will strengthen family bonds, develop faith in the family and prepare those to be married. We intend to increase the Christlikeness of the family and provide guidance to help solve a crisis.

CHILDREN’S DAY SUPERHEROES ACADEMY
by Karen Blanco
Indeed the parish fiesta was a celebration of both the young and ‘the young at heart’ at the annual Children’s Day, with the theme “Superhero Academy,” held last June 7, 2015 at the Parish Center Hall. It was an awesome party where everyone came in costume, dressed up in their favorite superhero, or had their face painted to be the strong and powerful characters. Read the full story…..
FLORES DE MAYO 2015
by Karen Blanco
Flores de Mayo in Santuario de San Antonio parish had children and young people offering their flowers to The Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mama Mary. After the 6pm daily mass, the children, with flower offerings in hand, walked up to the altar and to the statue of Our Blessed Lady to lay down the flowers at her feet.
A celebration of the Liturgy of the Word
for children ages 4-7
Magnifikids is not catechism class nor is it childcare. It is a Liturgical celebration that is designed for children ages 4-7 years old. The priest presider will call on the children who will then be led to the Parish Center classrooms. A trained lay presider, using a Children’s Lectionary, will read the same scripture readings, share the homily and reflection of the readings. The lectionary used shortens the readings and uses language and vocabulary that is easily understood by children. The children will be encouraged to share their own understanding of the readings and how to relate it to their everyday lives.
Our purpose is for the Church to show special concern for baptized children who have yet to be fully initiated thru sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation. Also to ensure that the assembly’s children (ages 4-7) experience meaningful, inspirational, and spiritual celebrations of the Liturgy of the Word through careful, reflective planning, and preparation by our lay presiders.
Pls. bring them to the 10:30 am Sunday mass on January 11 and weekly, thereafter. If you would like more info or would like to volunteer in this ministry, please call Shelli at 09175322839 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
