THE CCD CURRICULUM
The curriculum is based on the “Blest Are We” series published by RCL Benziger/Silver Burdett Ginn Religion (approved by the Bishops’ Committee 2010). The series is structured as a spiral curriculum and consists of 9 grade levels addressed to children from ages five (5) to mid-teens. Student books have 5 units, with four chapters per unit. The four chapters of each unit are organized around the four pillars of:
Catholic Faith – WHAT CATHOLICS BELIEVE
Worship – HOW CATHOLICS WORSHIP
Life – HOW CATHOLICS LIVE
Prayer – HOW CATHOLICS PRAY

For those interested in more detailed information, a grade-level handout is available at the CCD Office or you can refer to the website: http://www.blestarewe.com/scope/
