Our Huge Thanks to Everyone!
I cannot express in words how grateful I am to our parish community for the unprecedented support you have shown to Francisfest 2020.
When we first started out, we were unsure how our plea to support the building of St. Clare Parish in Malabon-Navotas would be received. There were moments of uncertainty but God blessed us with a dynamic team who lobbied with me to build a church even at a time such as this pandemic.
To find inspiration and guidance from St. Francis, St. Anthony, and St. Clare, we persisted, supporting each other and knowing that if we do our best, God will open doors and give blessings beyond our expectations. I have always believed in “Ora et Labora,” and pray and work we did!
I would like to thank Jose Mari Chan for the inspiration, dedication and support that he has given to Francisfest 2020. To Fr. Reu for his guidance and to Fr. Joel for his commitment to his community which inspired us to participate in this project. To Rose Galvez for providing the positive support. To the team par excellance, the Francisfest 2020 Committees, my beloved team for keeping me energized and motivated. To my family for the patience and understanding. And finally, a thank you to everyone for supporting our call to help build our sister parish church. As instruments working for God’s glory, we shall succeed!
Maraming, maraming salamat po.

We appeal to your generous hearts to help this year’s beneficiary — the St. Clare Parish in Dagat-dagatan, Malabon-Navotas. We aim to help the 40,000+ families in Navotas and Malabon build their own church — for Mass, prayer, formation, counseling, and community-building. We plan to start construction in 2021.
This project will likewise support the various ministries of our SSAP Outreach Programs: Hospital (Philippine General Hospital and Rizal Medical Center), Restorative Justice (Makati City Jail and Taguig City Jail), Scholarship, Livelihood, Eco-Justice, Relief and Rehabilitation, and Pastoral Care for Franciscan Vocations.

Presenting our Francisfest 2020 Performers,
Rachelle Gerodias and Byeong-In Park
Some facts about our Francisfest 2020 performers, the Filipino-Korean opera couple, Rachelle Gerodias-Park and Byeong-In Park. A winner of “The Outstanding Young Men” and “The Outstanding Women in the Nation’s Service” awards, soprano Rachelle Gerodias-Park is also the first “Aliw Awards Hall of Fame” awardee for Best Female Classical Performer, thereby cementing what many have long known: that she is currently the Philippines’ brightest gem in the field of opera and classical vocal performances.
Korean baritone Byeong-In Park studied under the acclaimed Mexican tenor Francisco Araiza at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart, Germany. Since his studies in Germany, he has been actively performing in opera productions and concerts around Europe and Asia.
