We landed first in Paris, instead of a country that had the Mers epidemic, then on to Lisbon, Portugal, Santarem, Fatima, Santiago, Compostela, Bilbao, Lourdes, France, Nice, Monte Carlo, Pisa, Padua, Venice, Florence, Assisi, San Giovanni Rotondo and Rome.
It was a religious journey indeed. Our chaplain, Fr. Robert, celebrated mass in every place we visited. In between while enjoying the sightseeing tour by bus, we prayed the rosary and read the printed prayers in every place we were that were prepared by Fr. Robert and Dean Datu. We had our “Sharing Time” that helped us know more of each other. From Manila, we first boarded our plane as strangers and ended our pilgrimage in two weeks time, as brothers and sisters, sharing our spiritual blessings we gained from our whole trip.
